Due to our good course schedule and the fall break, we had eleven days off. Mathias and I planned a trip from San Francisco to Las Vegas via Los Angeles. In retrospect to this trip, I can say that this vacation was the best trip of our lives! We flew from Omaha to San Francisco and rented a car there. In San Francisco we stayed four days and we saw the Golden Gate Bridge, Cable Cars, Union Square and the Lombard Street. Then we drove down the wonderful Highway 1 to L.A. via Santa Cruz, Santa Barbara and Santa Monica. Erika and Michaela, from the MCI (Business & Law), both study in L.A. showed us the best locations from L.A. and Fullerton, their current home town. Three days later we gave the rent car back and flew to Vegas the most entertaining city I have ever seen. Vegas mainly consists of hotels, restaurants and nightclubs; almost every building has something special and the people were going crazy there. Sebastian, one of our best friends, who we had met in course of the GlobITPro program, joined us in Vegas. After three days entertainment pure, including gambling, we travelled back to Omaha.
Retrospectively, it was the best trip of our lives and we enjoyed every second of our vacation.
